Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency across the organization. This position involves generating and delivering reports and providing insight to management and leadership to enhance the decision-making process using facts-based data working to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The Analyst will conduct in-depth analysis of operations data, collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement effective solutions, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive analytical reviews of operations data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement effective solutions based on data-driven insights.
  • Participate in and contribute to regular KPI reviews, ensuring metrics and benchmarks align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Analyze operations to identify key performance metrics and opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and seek data-based insights for business operations improvement.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to optimize business operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest features, updates, and best practices in data analysis and visualization to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Transportation and Logistics industry preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
  • Proficient in designing and developing BI reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and/or other data languages.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, capable of efficiently collecting, organizing, and analyzing data with accuracy. Proficient in applying insights from data analysis to inform operational strategies and decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of staff, management, and customers.
  • Proven interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a positive attitude towards change management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Physical Demands:

  • Extended Sitting: Primarily desk-based with prolonged computer use.
  • Computer Use: Frequent operation of computers and office equipment, requiring manual dexterity.
  • Eye Strain and Repetitive Motion: Risk from continuous screen use and repetitive tasks like typing.
  • Office Navigation: Light walking and standing for meetings and tasks within the office.
  • Light Lifting: Occasional handling of objects up to 20 pounds.
